Is this a good Trade?
I wouldnt not trade Big Papi and Halladay. Big Papi is better than Delgado and he can hit more HRs and drive in more runs than Delgado. I would include Halladay in a deal if they dont take the Lackey deal.





Instead, i would offer Lackey and Rolen for Utley and another good starter and see if they will take it. If they dont, then I would offer Halladay for and Rolen for Utley and a good starter. If they dont take the second offer, then I would add either Santana, Padilla or Maddux. (to the second offer)

Get a great pitcher instead of Delgado. I would only let go of Big Papi if you need a good 2B. If you have a decent 2B already, then don't make that trade.
Reply:no way roy halladay is a fantasy manager's dream pitcher. he gets k's wins and has a great ERA. chase utley is a premiere player but so is ortiz. i'd say stay away from this trade. giving up a great pitcher and not getting a good one in return makes this trade very uneffective in my opinion.
Reply:no do not do this. derosa is off to a pretty good start in chicago and if you need more help, look at branden phillips, marcus giles. you need roy halladay in your rotation and big papi is a main piece to any offense
